Course Program

All senior English classes are private classes, either 1-on-1 or with multiple students. This is to ensure that our tuition classes are focusing on the student's assigned texts in school, and also allows us to focus on the student's weaknesses or areas they need improving.

This Prestige Tuition Year 12 Advanced English course has been revised for the new NSW English syllabus meeting the Australian National Curriculum requirements effective from 2014.

By the end of the year, students of Prestige will be able to:

An ability to analyse the ways language forms and features shape meaning.
Skills to recognise and explain the relationships between values, context and texts.
Skills that allow them to respond critically and articulately to complex texts.
Critical thinking skills that allows students to draw upon logic and imagination to demonstrate a developed control of language.
The ability to reflect on their own learning processes and identify a higher standard of textual integrity.
