The Prestige Tuition preliminary Biology course has been revised for the new Stage 6 NSW Biology syllabus meeting the National Education Standards Australia curriculum requirements effective from 2018.

Tutor
Students aim to:
  • Develop an understanding and appreciation towards biological concepts
  • Develop an understanding on exploration of the diversity of life, from molecular to a biological systems level and the interactions between living things and the environments in which they live.
 
Students develop:
  • Knowledge and understanding of heredity and genetic technologies
  • Knowledge and understanding of the effects of disease and disorders
  • Positive, informed values and attitudes towards biology
  • Recognise the influence of economic, political and societal impacts on the development of scientific knowledge
  • An appreciation of the influence of imagination and creativity in scientific research. ​
